Alvey Math Club

Calling all 4th and 5th graders who love a challenge! Join Alvey Math Club to strengthen problem-solving skills, work with peers, and participate in exciting math competitions.

What You'll Do

  • Solve challenging math problems as a team
  • Learn new problem-solving strategies and advanced math skills
  • Practice critical thinking and perseverance
  • Participate in monthly Math Olympiad contests
  • Compete for the opportunity to represent Alvey at the PWCS Math Tournament in the spring

Meeting Information

📅 When: Friday mornings, October through March
⏰ Time: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
📍 Location: Ms. Dyas's classroom

Who Can Join?

  • Open to all 4th and 5th grade students
  • Students interested in challenging themselves and growing as mathematicians

Registration

  • Space is limited.
  • If more students apply than available spots, a lottery system will be used.
  • Sign-up deadline: September 25
