What does a Parent Liaison do?
A School Parent Liaison serves as a communication link between home and school. They welcome and orient families to the school and familiarize the families with the school's culture, policies, procedures, and practices. The primary role of the School Parent Liaison is to empower parents to become active participants in the education of their children to ensure their child's academic and social success in school.
How can I support you?
- Encourage open communication between you and school personnel.
- Explain the process of conferences and school meetings.
- Explain school policies, practices, and programs.
- Provide information about school goals, resources, and activities.
- Provide various communication platforms that engage families:
